At the end of 2025, the ESTA audit took place on two of the main United Beet Seeds seed processing sites in Tienen, Belgium and Holeby, Denmark. The outcome was excellent: both factories passed again with no non-conformities.
This means that we are ESTA certified for beet seeds, and we continue to demonstrate that our seed treatment process meets the strong requirements for quality, safety, and environmental care.
What is the ESTA certification?
ESTA (European Seed Treatment Assurance) is an industry quality assurance program developed by Euroseeds, the European Seed Association, to ensure seed treatment and the resulting treated seeds meet the agreed requirements defined by industry and legislators.
The program is based on controlled and professionally managed seed treatment processes, with a strong emphasis on precision and the minimization of environmental impact. ESTA is also compatible with the national quality assurance systems in France (PQP) and in Germany (SeedGuard).
